From my life experience, if someone looks weird, they are weird. Creepy is as creepy does. Ted Bundy was scary because he was so "normal" looking. The eyes are the windows to the soul and there is a whole lotta creepy in those eyes. He doesn't look scared, he looks like a freak.

I would look into some of the parents at the school or their associates. The woman knew the name of the child. Most teachers have met the parents of their students so maybe the person who abducted the child knew there was going to be a substitute teacher that day.

Hate to say it, but I agree with Zane. Take all the crazies and seperate them. Some people cannot be "socialized". The parents should have gotten help for the shooter years ago instead of sheltering him.

Humans will always pick on the weak. It is nature. It is a way to keep the bloodline pure. Animal mothers will eat their babies that are born deformed. The weak bird falls out of the nest. It is just the way it is.

Studies have found that the human brain is not developed until the age of 25. Yes, a 17 y/o is still considered a child. The brain is not developed enough to think like an adult. Anyone who has been around a 17 y/o should know that most still think like a child.

It is part of the story. The point is he was a teenager walking home from a convenient store after purchasing iced tea and skittles but got mistaken for a possible burglar.
